Note 1: MSB=0 allows LSB to control lower 128 level steps, MSB=1 allows LSB field to control upper

128 level steps. (In operation MSB=0/LSB=00 gives full mute, MSB=1/LSB=7F gives maximum

output level.)

MSB=2 places function in reduced precision mode, where LSB=00 is full mute, LSB=7F is maximum

output.

MSB=3 places function in reduced precision, reverse range mode, where LSB=7F is full mute,

LSB=00 is maximum output.
